CA’s new simplified pricing model for CA ARCserve Backup software, options and agents enables organizations to reduce the complexity of procurement, installing, managing and tracking software product licensing keys, thereby saving time and money.
Value Proposition
CA continues to execute on its EITM strategy to unify and simply. The new pricing model simplifies procurement by reducing the number of product options customers have to choose from (reduced SKUs from hundreds to 4) and unifies licensing for product components under a single licensing key.
CA created four (4) complete product suites to address the data protection needs of small and medium sized businesses and large global enterprises with complex environments under this new pricing model.
Each product suite delivers greater technology value by combining all the necessary components to protect each server environment.
There are four (4) complete product suites under the new simplified pricing model:

Each suite contains greater technology and delivers a complete backup solution and server protection according to the individual server's data protection needs.
Each product suite comes with all the necessary options and agents to protect the server according to its kind. For example, email server will have the necessary base product functionality plus all CA ARCserve Backup email agents, and likewise the database servers, etc.
