Open License
The Open License program is designed for companies that have as few as five desktop PCs. The program provides a simple, flexible, and cost-effective way to acquire the latest Microsoft technology to meet your organisation's needs and procurement procedures.

Select License
The Select License program is designed for corporate, government, and academic organizations that have 250 or more desktop PCs and mixed product and purchasing requirements. With Select License, your organisation receives a volume price level for each pool of products selected (applications, systems, and servers) based on a three-year software forecast.

Enterprise Agreement
The Enterprise Agreement program is designed for businesses that have 250 or more desktop PCs. Enterprise Agreement enables you to improve workplace productivity by standardizing on your choice of Microsoft software for all desktops across your enterprise at discounted prices based on a three-year agreement term.

Enterprise Subscription Agreement
The Enterprise Subscription Agreement program is designed for corporations that have 250 or more desktop PCs. With Enterprise Subscription Agreement, your company can subscribe to—rather than purchase—Microsoft software licenses. Enterprise Subscription Agreement offers significant discounts off full retail prices, lower annual payments, and pricing flexibility to accommodate acquisitions and divestitures.

Microsoft Open Media Purchasing – new rules
Purchasing Open Media via VLSC will be the only Open Media Fulfilment method from July.
Overview:
Since November 2007, Open Licence customers are able to download fulfilment media from the Volume Licensing Service Centre (VLSC) as per their licence entitlement.
Since December 2008, Open Licence customers are able to purchase physical media, if preferred, by placing an online order through VLSC.

From July 11th 2008, fulfilment media through the channel will be stopped

Microsoft Agreement Refresh Pricing Changes for October 2008
This is preliminary guidance, further information is scheduled to be provided in the coming months.
Microsoft has announced a large volume of price points will change slightly on the October 2008 price list. As a worst-case basis, for planning purposes, as many as 70% of the prices on the price list may change as of October 2008.


All Volume Licensing Programs are affected: Campus, School, Enterprise, Enterprise Subscription, Select, Open, Open Value, Open Value Subscription.
