“Connecting for Health” have selected McAfee Endpoint Encryption solutions to protect data across the NHS establishments.
 

The need to allow wider access to computer systems, especially portable devices means the potential risks of data loss increases.  Whilst it may not be possible to completely physically secure these systems and devices, steps can be taken to minimise data loss and encryption of hard disks and other storage devices is one way of controlling access to sensitive data.
 

After an evaluation of products and resellers, Trustmarque Solutions has been selected as the sole supplier for a pre-paid solution for all English NHS sites.


This means that if you are part of the NHS in England, you can utilise this scheme at no license cost to your establishments.
