Government Procurement Service managed £7.6bn of Public Sector spend in 2010-11, and is targeted to increase this substantially in the next few years, whilst driving the national ICT savings agenda of behalf of Cabinet Office.

Replacing the now obsolete BECTA Software Framework, Software for Educational Institutions provides a contractual vehicle for a wide range of line-of-business applications and infrastructure management solutions, and is the default procurement route for the entire Public Sector Education Market, giving access to the most competitive and competent suppliers dedicated to servicing Education.
