17th January 2012 – Trustmarque are delighted to announce they have raised an incredible £2,342 for York Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU). Trustmarque’s Christmas party, held at York Race Course on the 7^th December saw the company raffle off two iPads and a whole host of other prizes raising £1,171, which the company matched, doubling the amount to £2,342.

James Tong, an employee of Trustmarque, nominated the York Hospital SCBU after his son Theo spent time in the unit after being born prematurely.  James and his family visited the SCBU to present the cheque to Sister Ann Elliott.  Sister Elliott said “Thank you from everyone on the unit for this wonderful donation which is very much appreciated and will be used to help the babies that come on to the unit in the future.”
