Trustmarque ranked 54th in The Sunday Times Best Companies awards
We’re very pleased this morning; last night at The Sunday Times Best Companies ceremony Trustmarque’s Three Star Accreditation for Best Companies 2013 was confirmed and we were ranked 54th – up 12 places from last year!
The Sunday Times Best Companies accreditation is something that we’re really proud of and represents our dedication to staff welfare, development and being a thoroughly good place to work! It’s very important to us that our staff are happy and enthusiastic about what they do and that underpins a lot of the work that we do internally.
There are many elements involved in the accreditation, however it’s great to see that our charitable work is getting noticed, with 98 per cent of staff pointing to it as a factor in what makes Trustmarque such a good place to work.
Charitable causes are very close to our hearts and we support a number of charities locally and nationally, for example we support York Against Cancer, SANDS, Breast Cancer Awareness and the York Special Baby Care Unit – just to name a few. In fact, next week 14 of us are braving the elements by sleeping rough outside York Minster in a sleepout organised by Safe and Sound Homes, a charity that works to prevent youth homelessness in York. It’s a very worthy cause and we’re delighted to be involved.
If you wanted to sponsor our efforts for the sleepout, you can pledge online here!
